Crisis Nursery Debuts on Groupon Next Week!

Tuesday-Thursday, September 27-29th!
Groupon has chosen Crisis Nursery to be featured next week, September 27th-29th, as it's Featured Cause! What this means is that while you're looking to see if that new yogurt spot across the street is offering a deal, you can consider contributing toward changing the lives of children and families around you. Each donation made during that time period will go entirely to Crisis Nursery, which will then contribute to growing and supplying our Children's Shelter. Those dollars become tangible gifts to children that need our services to have healthy lives; this includes full, nutritious meals, clean sets of clothes, bedding, arts and crafts supplies, educational materials, and medical care.
Everyone here at Crisis Nursery is incredibly excited for the launch, especially the staff at the shelter. We're all anxiously awaiting the moment it goes live next week. As we reach the end of our countdown (6 days!) we'll be showing more of what our shelter is like, the experiences the staff there have had with the children, just how much need is present each day, and why this campaign is so important. Follow us here, on our blog, on our Facebook and on our Twitter as we give a look inside who we are, what we do, and how you can be part of making a change!
Going forward, support our campaign by:
- Subscribing to Groupon Phoenix (confirm city and create an account here) either by email or through your Facebook account. Bookmark Groupon to remain up-to-date on their deals - you can even make them a bookmarked tab on your toolbar in your web browser.
- Look out for emails from Groupon with Daily and Featured Deals. Crisis Nursery will be featured on the right side of the Main Deal and Daily Deals pages, toward the bottom corner.
- Forward those emails to interested friends, family and coworkers. Pass around our link to our Featured page, which we will include on our blog when it goes live. Encourage them to signup with Groupon and keep a look out for when our campaign starts.
- Let your friends know about us on Facebook and Twitter! Spread the word about our mission, our upcoming goal, and how they can help.
We need 38 people to donate $10 each through Groupon in order to feed, care for, and provide emergency services to five children at our shelter. Each additional $75 (8 people) will provide an additional child with day and overnight stay services.
Each person that is aware of our feature on Groupon matters. A single donation can spark more from friends and family - and, if one cannot help financially, then each mention to a friend, status update, Tweet or email can make just as much impact. Awareness is as vital as individual giving, and we need your help in making sure everyone knows about this opportunity.
Check back repeatedly over the next six days(!) leading up to our launch to learn more about our cause, our people, and our shelter, and thank you for helping make a difference.
