Planned and Major Gifts

Planned & Major Gifts

Leave a legacy to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect in our community!

Making a difference, one child at a time is what Crisis Nursery is all about. And those differences spread to their families, their neighborhood and our community. You can help end the cycle of child abuse and neglect in Arizona by leaving a legacy gift in your will or estate. Your planned gift to Crisis Nursery may:

  • Return substantial tax benefits
  • Potentially increase your income
  • Provide a way of fulfilling your personal and financial goals.

Gifts of life insurance, becoming a guardian angel, retirement plan assets, real estate, and the use of other forms of charitable trusts, such as a Charitable Remainder Trust, represent additional ways to make a planned gift to Crisis Nursery.

Your tax advisor or financial planner can advise you how leaving a gift to Crisis Nursery through your will or estate affects your personal financial situation.

If you would like more information about making a planned gift for our children and families, please contact Damita Curry, using the form on the right or call 602.273.7363 x. 143

Donate Stocks and Securities

You can make a gift of securities (stocks, bonds and mutual funds) to Crisis Nursery. By donating appreciated securities, you receive distinct tax advantages. If you own publicly traded stocks or bonds that have appreciated in value and are long-term in nature (owned for more than 12 months), you may want to consider the income tax benefits of giving securities over cash.

To transfer a gift of securities to Crisis Nursery:

  • Notify your broker of your intentions and ask him/ her to call us to work out the transfer details
  • Discount brokers and others will require specific written instructions

Please call us at 602.273.7363 for any necessary details.
