 Bilingual Early Head Start Teacher

Crisis Nursery Early Head Start, a high-quality early childhood education program for children at risk of child abuse and neglect, has an immediate opening for a bilingual teacher to provide quality early care and education services to children 12 months to three years of age. We maintain a 4:1 ratio and have eight children and two teachers in each of our six classrooms. Crisis Nursery is a non-profit organization located in Phoenix whose mission is to stop the cycle of child abuse and neglect.

A minimum of an Associates Degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education or a related field and 2 years of experience with infants and/or toddlers is required. Within degree coursework, at least 12 college credits must be related to infant/toddler development. Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelors Degree (BA) in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Candidates MUST be able to speak, read, and write English and Spanish.

Crisis Nursery has an opening for a Foster Care Licensing Worker in our Foster Care Program.  Exciting work in recruitment, training, licensing & monitoring of foster homes.  Bachelor or Master degree in SW or related field.  Experience in 2 or more of the following areas:  adoptions/foster care, work with abused/neglected children/families, Case management/knowledge of child development/parenting skills, CPS, Mental Health Systems/SA/DV.  Some evenings & Saturday work, bilingual Span/Eng. required.

Crisis Nursery has openings for substitute Child Development Providers.  This position assists in providing a safe, nurturing place for children who have recently experienced crisis or emergencies in their lives.  This is an "on-call" position so being flexible is imperative.
 
Successful candidates will be able to complete a two week paid training course, pass a pre-employment drug screen, pre-employment physical, and obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.  Additionally, candidates must have one year of paid childcare experience and high school diploma or GED.
