Become a Crisis Nursery Foster Parent: (Para Español por favor de leer debajo.) 

Crisis Nursery is looking for individuals and couples, including relatives, willing to open their hearts and homes to children who have suffered abuse and neglect. These children are experiencing a very difficult time in their young lives.  They have been removed from their homes and need safety and reassurance.  We are looking for caring, nurturing adults who will support and help these children through this confusing and frightening time.  Foster parents work with us to create a safe and loving experience for these children, which is the foundation for becoming responsible and happy adults.  The goal is to return the children to their birth parents, if at all possible.  Adult relatives and friends who are caring for children through Child Protective Services are also eligible for becoming licensed.


Requirements:

Foster Family qualifications are regulated by the State of Arizona through the foster care licensing process.  This process includes an orientation, intake interview, 33 hours of training over 11 weeks, fingerprinting and a home study. To become licensed for foster care, individuals must be:

• At least 21 years of age
• Single or a couple, married or partnering
• Financially stable (must have enough monthly income to pay monthly bills)
• Emotionally ready for parenting
• In good physical health
• Able to pass a criminal background check and free of serious CPS offenses
• A citizen of the U.S. or proof of legal residency
• Be flexible and have a sense of humor

 

Take Your First Step. Attend An Informational Orientation Session:

 Anyone interested in foster care in Arizona must take the first step by attending this Informational Orientation Session. During this 1 to 2 hour session, the foster care process and licensing requirements are reviewed.  Any questions or individual concerns can also be addressed at this time. The goal is to help people make a clear and informed decision on whether foster care is a good fit for them.  Please call to inquire about scheduling a one-on-one session.

Sea una familia para niños buscando hogares temporales:

Crisis Nursery está buscando por individuos o parejas, y familiares para abrir sus corazones y hogares a niños que han sufrido de abuso y negligencia. Ellos han sufrido situaciones dificultosas, conflicto o trauma, están confundidos o temerosos. Han sido removidos de sus hogares y necesitan seguridad y bien estar. Estamos buscando por personas que puedan mostrar cariño y apoyo a estos niños durante este tiempo tan difícil y lleno de miedo. Hogares de custodia temporal trabajan con Crisis Nursery para crear una experiencia segura y buena por estos niños. La meta principal es reunificar a la criatura a su familia biológica si es posible. Familiares, adultos y amigos pueden ser elegibles para licenciatura.

 
Requisitos:

Los requisitos para licenciatura son regulados por el estado Arizona a través del proceso de Hogares de Custodia Temporal. Este proceso incluye una orientación, entrevista, 33 horas de entrenamiento sobre 11 semanas, huellas digitales de todos de 18 anos o más, evaluación y estudio de su hogar. • Casado, soltero o cohabitando con su pareja

Si está interesado ser un Hogar de Custodia Temporal en Arizona, el primer paso es atender una orientación. Durante esta orientación de 1 o 2 horas, los requisitos serán revisados. El objetivó es ayudarte hacer una decisión informada.
