Senior Staff
Marsha Porter
Executive Director

Marsha Porter has dedicated her 30 year career to the well-being Arizona's children. She began her career with Child Protective Services (CPS) and occupied a number of direct service and administrative positions within the state child welfare system. For the last 13 years, Marsha has served as Executive Director of Crisis Nursery, Inc.

Through Marsha's leadership, Crisis Nursery has expanded; from providing short-term residential care and support services for 36 at-risk children to providing 42 residential beds and child care for over 120 children and their families every day. In the coming months and years, Crisis Nursery will be expanding these services to recruiting and supervising family foster homes and providing new support services to children in foster care and their families.

Marsha's experience in both the public and private sectors gives her a unique perspective of both the challenges and dilemmas facing Arizona's children and their families.
