Volunteer

Crisis Nursery volunteers partner with staff to enhance and supplement a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for the children in our care. It is only with your help that we are able to provide children and families with the individualized attention they need and deserve.

All of our volunteers have 1 item in common: their enthusiasm to improve the lives of the children and families in our community!

If you are looking for an opportunity to make a REAL difference in the life of a child, we'll help place you in a volunteer role that makes the best use of your time and talents.

Last year, individual volunteers donated 8,003 hours of their time to directly or indirectly care for children served by Crisis Nursery - valued at $162,061 (value taken from independentsector.com).

Volunteers are essential to the success of Crisis Nursery and we appreciate your support and interest!

How To Become a Crisis Nursery Volunteer and Individual Volunteer Requirements
For the safety and well being of the children and families we serve, our volunteer application and screening process is extensive.  It is not our intent to overwhelm prospective volunteers, rather it is our need to meet all licensing requirements and to provide volunteers with a successful and meaningful volunteer experience.
