Volunteer

Our volunteers are priceless!

Crisis Nursery volunteers partner with staff to enhance and supplement a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for the children in our care. It is only with your help that we are able to provide children and families with the individualized attention they need and deserve.

All of our volunteers have 1 item in common: their enthusiasm to improve the lives of the children and families in our community!

Last year, Crisis Nursery volunteers contributed 14,704 hours of their time and talents caring for and supporting our children and represented 256 religious, civic and corporate groups. The monetary value of these volunteer contributions is $314,077.*

If you are looking for an opportunity to make a REAL difference in the life of a child, we'll help place you in a volunteer role that makes the best use of your time and talents.

Employee workday & community groups

Crisis Nursery needs people power! If your company is looking for a great way to get involved, consider working with Crisis Nursery to organize a volunteer workday for your employees. Workday projects can be accomplished in as little as a half-day. Companies and community groups have sponsored field trips, taken children on field trips with staff and sponsored monthly birthday parties. If your company is interested in learning how your employees can make a difference for families in crisis or want to customize a workday, please contact, Pat Beasley at pbeasley@crisisnurseryphx.org.
